Flowers were everywhere in Thailand. On street corners. In markets. In quiet hands, arranging beauty as part of daily life.

Each stall brought my mom back to me. Her deep love of tending what grows. Her patience and care she showed each petal.

Midnight Sky was born quietly.

My sister and I sat on the hotel patio in Chiang Mai. Beyond the railing, the river softened the city. The sky moved slowly from purple to gold to deep blue.

We had spent the day walking the old city. Stone. Temples.

This piece came from a day that stayed in my body.

We travelled deep into the rural landscape of Chiang Mai. Steep mountain roads. Dense jungle. Temples appearing where you least expect them.
